ABOUT ABOUT

Lunch and Presentation

Macro tailwinds such as a decreasing land base for food production, a growing world population, and increasing protein calorie consumption per capita make US farmland an attractive asset class. But how has US farmland performed historically in portfolios? And what are the risks to investing in the asset class? The purpose of this presentation is to educate attendees on farmland as an asset class and explain why diversification by crop type and region is key to stable returns over time. Attendees will learn more about farmland's historic portfolio benefits such as protection of capital, diversification, and sensitivity to inflation.

He currently lives in the Chicago area and is the proud son of a fourth-generation farmer.
